VideoBomb Launches at CMA Music Festival
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- VideoBomb,  a free mobile app allowing fans to incorporate their own content into clips of their favorite music videos, will launch at this year’s CMA Music Festival on the Radio Disney Country Stage, June 8 – 11th in Nashville.  VideoBomb features a host of chart-topping music videos from artists including Luke Bryan, Britney Spears, DJ Khaled, Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus, and T-Pain.  Hayley Orrantia, who plays Erica Goldberg on the ABC comedy series The Goldbergs, will be at the festival creating videobombs like this to share with fans. Through the VideoBomb app, which is available exclusively in the Apple App store, customers can create interactive videos with some of the biggest music stars from the past and present, and then share them with friends via YouTube, Twitter and other social sharing sites.  VideoBomb’s library currently offers more than 47,000 videos.

“VideoBomb was created to engage fans on a unique level by placing them in their favorite videos and in turn, strengthen the artist-to-fan experience,” said Chad D. F. Marcum, Co-Founder & CEO, VideoBomb. “We’re excited to provide our users with a tool in the palm of their hands that allows them to express themselves creatively, in ways they can't get anywhere else.”

The VideoBomb app is easy to navigate. Once it is downloaded, users select the content they wish to ‘videobomb‘, pick their length and then decide how they would like to be featured in the clip. Users can choose whether they want to lip sync to the video or turn on their microphone to dub existing vocals. Users can VideoBomb thirty seconds of the first minute of any music video for free. If they want to unlock the full video, they can purchase it for $1.99.

“We’ve seen a growing trend among millennials consuming music online, and an overwhelming interest in interacting and customizing the video experience," said John Edde and Matt Edde, Co-Founders and CCOs, VideoBomb. “Now, they have the perfect tool to do so seamlessly. It’s a paradigm shift in how we interact with content.”

Hayley Orrantia not only has two of her own videos featured on the app but she’s also a Videobomb pro.  "I had so much fun videobombing the Backstreet Boys and Pentatonix,” Orrantia said.  “This app makes it really easy to insert yourself into any of your favorite videos and I can’t wait to do more and share them with my friends.  VideoBomb is the next big app!”

Beyond the app’s robust selection, customers have the power to access their own camera roll and ‘videobomb’ any video that they have previously recorded. Upon completion, all videos are automatically saved to the users’ camera roll.
