RALEIGH, N.C. -- Raleigh will “Paint the Town Purple” this weekend as My 2nd Act: Survivor Stories from the Stage comes to Fletcher Opera Theater on Sunday, August 21st at 3pm for its inaugural televised stage event. Fletcher Opera Theater will host nine survivors who’ll take the stage and hearts of audiences by sharing their incredible and powerful stories of cancer survivorship, putting a new look to old ideas about moving through and beyond cancer. The show’s Executive Producer is 6-time Emmy Award Winner Marcia Mule’ and Women Survivors Alliance Founder and Network CEO Karen Shayne. Local business maven and cancer survivor Tara Dunsmore of Pink Ink Tattoo also serves as loal Producer.
