RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. -- Global Knowledge, the world’s leading IT training and learning services provider, announced the appointment of Satish Shetty as its global CIO. This new position emphasizes the company’s commitment to international growth in IT training.

Shetty will oversee all global technology for the company, including critical customer-facing services and technology operations as Global Knowledge prepares for global expansion by moving to a common worldwide information technology service.
Shetty’s oversight into critical customer-facing services will include the Global Knowledge digital learning platform and remote labs located in the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
Operationally, Shetty will continue the consolidation of services between Global Knowledge’s EMEA and North American operating units through the implementation of common worldwide platforms supporting CRM and ERP functionality and enterprise-wide project management office.
A recognized technology executive and innovator, Shetty brings more than 20 years of leadership, strategy and architecture experience with a focus on delivering business value via technology. He has a proven track record for large scale strategy and implementation of CRM, cloud, analytics, digital and ERP solutions for major corporations, including Ply Gem and Dex One.
Shetty holds a Master of Science in information technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Pune in India. He has also received eight patents in the field of technology applications and authored several articles and publications.
