Getting Wilmington Startups to Think Bigger, Nationally and Globally, June 23

Network for Entrepreneurs in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, N.C. -- There has been some recent criticism of efforts to grow the entrepreneur ecosystem in Wilmington as just cheerleading. Ok, we will accept that challenge to have even more of an impact through deeper educational events for founders and entrepreneurs. Sure we all understand that the IDEA of a startup is not enough, but being able to execute on the idea and plan is what gives startup investors more return and creates generational wealth for the entrepreneurs.

Giving You An Unfair Advantage
At the end of the day, the ENTREPRENEURS, not the supportive ecosystem, create the jobs to improve the regional economy. We are booked for great events through December. But you the entrepreneur have to go beyond the great networking at our events and take the information from the content and use those lessons the very next day and moving forward. Maybe we should look into this, some give VMS credit for turning the corner for the Charleston startup ecosystem.

(One of our local medical device startup presenters from our May 19 event was recently featured in Raleigh based tech news site. )

So we have created an event to get our startups to think BIGGER and also how to execute on big ideas:
