GARNER, N.C. -- Slateplate, the ultimate piece of style for serving and entertaining, has opened a new production studio and demo facility less than two miles from the popular White Oak Crossing retail, dining, and entertainment center in Garner. Giving You An Unfair Advantage
“We’re getting so much interest from realtors and brokers who are purchasing Slateplate for staging in homes for sale and also as unique gifts for new homeowners, we thought it would be useful and fun to actually show people how it might look in a dining room, kitchen, or living room,” said Slateplate Operations and Sales Manager Danielle Prince.

According to Prince, a popular trend is having images of new homes digitally engraved in a Slateplate with congratulatory messages, GPS location or latitude and longitude.

Slateplate is handcrafted from high-quality, natural slate right here in the U.S. It is the sturdiest, safest, most versatile slate serving tray in the world, perfect for chefs, foodies and just plain fun.

The company is in the process of expanding its engraving options to create more personalized products. To that end, they will be launching a “cheesy quote page” on the Slateplate.com website in the days ahead. Slateplate is finishing with a flurry of Mother’s Day orders and is preparing to work on products geared more toward men for Father’s Day as well as prepping for this summer’s wedding season.

“We will be releasing bridesmaids and grooms packages over the next month or so,” Prince said.

Prince will be exhibiting Slateplate at the May 9th Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase at the Hilton North Raleigh/Midtown on Wake Forest Road. Slateplate is a member of the Chamber.

Slateplate’s new studio is located at 5115 Auburn Church Road in Garner. Although not technically open to the public on a walk-in basis, visitors wishing to tour the model home showcase or see how Slateplate is created from beginning to end are welcomed to schedule a visit by calling (919) 230-0291.
