Bull City Ventures Hosting Entrepreneurs' Series: Venture Outlook 2016

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Bull City Ventures, a Triangle-based venture capital firm investing $250k to $2 million in software and internet companies, will be hosting Entrepreneurs' Series: Venture Outlook 2016 at Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh on Thursday, January 19. Registration is now open for the event, which will feature angel investors and venture capitalists who've funded some of the region's most promising technology startups; a panel of entrepreneurs explaining what it took to secure angel as well as venture capital; and a presentation by North Carolina State Treasurer Janet Cowell.

In addition to Cowell, speakers currently scheduled include Logan Bartlett, Associate, Battery Ventures; David Cummings, CEO Atlanta Ventures and Founder Atlanta Tech Village; Mike Elliott, Managing Partner, Noro-Moseley Partners; Eric Koester, Executive Director, NextGen Angels; Todd Olson, CEO and Founder, Pendo; and Alex Pessala, Principal, Middleland Capital.

Due to facility capacity, space is limited and early registration is encouraged. Last year's event saw more than 425 attendees.

Led by Jason Caplain and David Jones, Bull City Ventures partners with entrepreneurs and focuses on investing in software, health IT, mobile, internet, e-commerce and digital media companies. While the company says it is early stage focused, it has always been known for selectively investing in seed and growth stage companies as well.

Jones, a Wilmington native, will be one of nine speakers at  the sold-out December 10th Network for Entrepreneurs in Wilmington (NEW) event at Ironclad Brewery.
