Silcotech Carolina Announces Additional Investment in York County Operations

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Silcotech, a global leader in liquid injection molding, has celebrated the grand opening of its York County operations and has also announced an additional $2.5 million investment in the facility. In production since January 2015, Silcotech’s York County facility, which represents the company’s first in the U.S., produces precision silicone parts. This additional $2.5 million investment adds to an initial $3.5 million investment, which the company announced in August 2013. Currently, approximately 42 workers are employed at the facility.
