Acryness® Partners With AccessOne® to Offer Healthcare Providers Patient Financing Options

MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Acryness, Inc., a healthcare information technology company focused on improving the self-pay portion of the revenue cycle, today announced a partnership with AccessOne® to integrate the AccessOne MedCard(SM) as a form of payment in Acryness' SelfPay Works(SM) Payment Suite. AccessOne is a provider of medical credit card options that are fair and affordable for hospitals and patients alike.

The integration with SelfPay Works, an end-to-end revenue cycle guidance platform that manages financial communications, payments and billing services, makes it easy for Acryness clients to provide the AccessOne MedCard financing options seamlessly with the traditional forms of payment -- check, credit card, and cash. The goal of this partnership for both Acryness and AccessOne is to improve for their common clients the integration and use of the AccessOne MedCard into their patient financial collection workflow.

"With the growth of high deductible health plans even insured patients need financing options. Providing a seamless way for our common clients to offer this payment option fits perfectly with the overall strategy behind our SelfPay Works platform," said Mark Relyea, president & CEO, Acryness, Inc. "We are excited to work with AccessOne to integrate our solutions and the added value it will bring to our clients and their patients."

Three financing options are available: Choice, Choice 10+, and the Choice Outreach AccessOne MedCard, which acts as a credit card for patients to pay the self-pay portion of their medical bill or, for uninsured patients, the entire portion of their bill. The integration with SelfPay Works will make it easy to sign up patients for the MedCard option, and to add new account balances to existing AccessOne accounts through one platform.

"We have had a strong working relationship with Acryness for more than 10 years as our provider of patient financial communications," said Russell A. Salton, III, MD, principal and CEO, AccessOne. "We provide our patient cardholders affordable and manageable ways to finance the self-pay portion of their healthcare. We are excited that our common hospital clients will have an enhanced and seamless way to deliver that value to their patients and their bottom line."
