COME TECH OUT the Triangle Connects Employers with Job Seekers

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), along with community partners CED and Work in the Triangle, and event partner Data4Decisions, will host the sixth COME TECH OUT the Triangle Job Fair on March 25, 2015 from 10:00 am - 4:00pm at the Raleigh Convention Center. The Job Fair will be co-located at the Data4Decisions (D4D) Conference & Exposition.

“NCTA is committed to helping connect the area’s talent pool with employers,” said Brooks Raiford, President and CEO of NCTA. “This is our sixth job fair in the Triangle, where hundreds of candidates and dozens of employers have come together, with many offers made.”

The hiring companies that have already signed up will have upwards of 1,000 jobs they are looking to fill.  Those confirmed include Bronto Software, Credit Suisse, DB Global Technology, Inc., Digital Intelligence Systems, LLC (DISYS), iContact, New Horizons of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, SoftPro, SciQuest and TEKsystems. The skill sets for these openings range from entry level to senior roles in Software Development, Web Development, IT Management, IT Support & Security, Cloud Computing, QA, Account Management, Business Development, IT Education & Training, Marketing, Administration and more.  These employers will have access to hundreds of job seekers as well as foot traffic from D4D Conference attendees.

“COME TECH OUT the Triangle offers great value for a company like SciQuest,” said Dina Schweisthal, Corporate Recruiter at SciQuest, headquartered in Raleigh. “It gives people a chance to get to know us better, and it gives us a chance to put a face to a resume. It’s a win-win for attendees and for the sponsors, as it opens more opportunities for discussion and awareness.”

Employers participating in the Job Fair will also post select job openings on NCTA’s Job Board.  These positions will be featured via Twitter @NCTAjobs and the hashtag #ComeTechOutNC to reach job seekers from outside of the region.

Openings still remain for employers that wish to participate, but space is limited. The Job Fair is free to all job seekers. For more information on becoming a featured employer or if you’re a job seeker and would like to register to attend, visit the job fair page or contact Alison Gordon at agordon@nctechnology.org or 919-890-0775.
