Bobbitt Finishes Medical Office Building Near Rex Hospital

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Bobbitt Design Build recently completed a 12,000-square-foot medical office building on Ed Drive, located near Rex Hospital in Raleigh. The space was built on an existing 25,000-square-foot lot that is already home to another medical office building, which Bobbitt originally constructed in 2013. In coordination with the first building’s aesthetics, Bobbitt incorporated similar highlights into the new medical office such as a wood-framed structure, a brick fa├žade, and a mansard roof. There are separate entries for multiple tenants.

Tasked to maximize the amount of square footage for spacious offices and provide ample parking for medical patients and staff, Bobbitt was able to accommodate the client’s needs by designing the building in an angled “L” shape.

Raleigh Skin Surgery Center will be first to move into the new building this year. The remaining Ed Drive office space is now available for sale or lease.
