Q: When was your company founded and why?
A: The Company was founded in 2003 to meet the growing demand for asset and inventory tracking systems focused in the manufacturing sector, using next-generation sensors like RFID. Entigral focused its efforts on developing a software platform and providing professional services to improve manufacturing workflows.

Q: Where is your HQ and how many employees do you have? 
A: Entigral Systems, Inc. is headquartered in Raleigh with ten full-time and three part-time employees.

Q: What are your company’s core products or services? 
A: Entigral sells enterprise software for asset, inventory, and work-in-process tracking, using advanced sensors like RFID, with a primary focus on the manufacturing sector. The company currently delivers the RFID industry’s most unique software solution for capturing data on inventory, assets, equipment, labor, and work-in-process. Entigral also has an experienced Professional Services Team to assist customers in determining the solution that best meets their needs and budget. The Professional Services Team provides consulting, design, project management, installation, and post-sales support.

The company’s flagship enterprise software product is TraxWare®. RFID sensors collect data and communicate this information, such as, location, to TraxWare which filters, organizes, and displays the data allowing management to make business decisions based on real-time accurate information. Utilizing the TraxWare platform, Entigral sells complete solutions for mission-critical processes like work-in-process tracking, conveyance tracking, high-value asset auditing, and inventory replenishment.

Entigral’s software enables Smart Manufacturing and the Enterprise Internet of Things.

Q: Who are some recognizable members of your leadership team?  
A: Booth Kalmbach, company founder, president and CEO, is a software architect and serial entrepreneur. Allen Bennett, founder and chairman, is a nationally known thought leader on RFID and Automated Data Collection.





Q: Does your company develop new technologies or re-apply existing technologies to solve a problem? 
A: Entigral developed (and continues to upgrade) its own software, TraxWare. The company leverages new sensor technologies, such as RFID, and its TraxWare software platform to reengineer existing processes to improve outcomes. The product integrates with other large scale enterprise software, such as ERP systems and database systems.

Q: Who are your customers? 
A: Entigral’s customers include corporations or government entities that have a need and desire to track valuable assets at single or multiple locations. The targeted customer segment is medium to large manufacturers that need to track hundreds to multiple thousands of assets by location or through a specific process. Many of Entigral’s customers are large automobile and truck manufacturers.

Q: What problems does your company solve? 
A:Manufacturers need to keep track of their assets, including inventory, equipment, containers, and work in process. Historical technology solutions, such as, bar code technologies, are time-consuming, costly and have proven inefficient. Entigral’s RFID driven solutions allow for a quicker, cheaper and less time intensive solution that provides higher visibility and more data.

Q: Please share examples of situations where your services achieved a positive result for clients.
A: Entigral has installed successful implementations at many locations around the country. These include:
• Freightliner - Portland – for Work-In-Process (Kanban) automatic fulfillment application
• Freightliner - Gastonia – for automatic Inventory Tracking of parts between plants
• Chrysler – for Machine to Machine tracking application
• Purolator – for Asset Tracking of capital assets

Q: What new products or services or services will you be rolling-out in 2014?  
A:Entigral’s current product is sold primarily as an enterprise solution on the premise of the manufacturing facility. During 2014, the company will be extending TraxWare to better provide a cloud solution. In addition, the company will be upgrading its product family to interface with newer hardware devices.

Q: What makes your company relevant to the future of your industry?  
A: Entigral’s software was designed from its inception to enable Smart Manufacturing and the Enterprise Internet of Things. As the broader market begins to embrace this cloud solution, Entigral will become the de facto choice for end-users and strategic partners. Entigral will lead the manufacturing floor to the Internet of Things.

Q: Will your company be participating in any upcoming trade shows or other events? 
A: Entigral will be exhibiting at RFID Journal Live in Orlando, Florida, the largest RFID conference nationally, in the second week of April. Other conferences scheduled for the year include: APICS 2014, the leading annual gathering of supply chain and operations management professionals worldwide in New Orleans in October.
