Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, CPCC Small Business Center to Jointly Offer Business Certification Program

CORNELIUS, N.C.--The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce in partnership with CPCC Small Business Center is pleased to announce a premier business certification program available to local business owners and entrepreneurs, regardless of a chamber affiliation. The purpose of the program is to help them master their business by focusing on strategy, growth and increasing future profitability as well as their leadership skills.

The twelve-month program will consist of 55 minute sessions, break-out sessions and round-table discussions, once a month at the Peninsula Club in Cornelius, led by certified instructors, community leaders, elected officials, professional coaches, personal development experts, national speakers and business advisors are well-respected and considered experts in their field.

To become certified, participants will be required to attend eight of the twelve monthly sessions within one year. Relevant and motivating topics are applicable to a wide range of business issues. Some of the benefits of the certification program include; business valuation assessments, one-on-one counseling, access to the marketing website, a 15 minute live interview on "Local Biz Now" radio show on WSIC and TV 21.2, media profile of participating businesses and so much more. Registration is $299 per quarter with a $100 discount for Mooresville-South Iredell or Lake Norman Chamber members. There is an additional $50 discount for program registrations prior to May 12.
