Mission: Midtown Radiothon at North Hills to Help Change Lives

RALEIGH, N.C.--WKIX 102.9 FM will host Mission: Midtown, a radiothon to benefit Raleigh Rescue Mission.  The radiothon will take place at North Hills where financial donations will be accepted from 12pm – 8pm at three donation stations around North Hills.  Donation will also be accepted all day online. “Mission: Midtown is a great opportunity for the community to help the homeless this holiday season! Folks can come out to North Hills to help change a life and  also enjoy some holiday shopping and the tree lighting festivities,” said Leslie Millett, Raleigh Rescue Mission’s director of public relations.
“If you can’t make it by North Hills on Wednesday, you can still help out by giving online at http://www.raleighrescue.org/missionmidtown.,” states Millett.

“Raleigh Rescue Mission does great work and we want to partner with them in changing the lives of the poor and homeless. Mission: Midtown is our way of getting the community together to help support those less fortunate,” said Bill Whitley, WKIX general manager. The event will be broadcast on KIX 102.9 FM with Jenn in the morning, Doug Austin, and Brian McFadden.

Two North Hills merchants, World of Beer and Mia Francesca, are holding special radiothon promotions to benefit Raleigh Rescue Mission.
